Heather Woods
Heather joined our team in 2009. She coordinates all of our music groups including choir, handbells, praise team, and special music ensembles. Heather has her Master’s Degree in Music Education. She is also a public school music teacher and director. Heather is married to Brian, our organist, and has two sons and one daughter. She heartfelt supporter of Type 1 Diabetes Awareness and Education. Heather enjoys many genres of music, but she admires Ludwig van Beethoven the most due to his ability to overcome his disability while pursuing his music career. Her favorite sports teams are her children’s baseball and softball teams, and fervently supports all of the activities including music, dance, and scouting. In her free time, she loves to cook and bake with her daughter.
