Why Attend Sunday School?
- Studying the Scripture keeps one from sin.
Psalm 119:11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin
against you.. NIV
- Studying the Scripture brings peace to one's
heart.
Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
NIV
- Studying the Scripture produces the right
kind of personality (one learns how to live victoriously).
- Studying the Scripture produces true
education. It trains one's mind and heart along the line of things eternal.
Sunday School meets at 10:30 AM every
Sunday Morning
First Christian Church believes very strongly
in on-going Christian Education, not only for the young, but for the adults as
well. Classes are available every Sunday for children and youth from
Kindergarten through high school. The curriculum is bible-based and
follows the lectionary along with our worship services. All of the
teachers are enthusiastic and encouraging and work hard to prepare young hearts
for a closer walk with God. Continuing Christian Education is also very
important for adults and young adults as well. Below is a list of the
adult classes and the teachers or class leaders.
We invite all, to join us this Sunday for Worship and Sunday School. Our
coffee bar is open in the fellowship hall if you want to get a special treat
before joining our Sunday School sessions. Ask the greeter at the front
door for directions to the classes or call the church office at 692-1421.

CHILDREN AND YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL
UPDATE
In our children and youth
classes we are learning about our forefathers and mothers in our faith!
Parents, ask your children what they know about Abraham and Sarah; and Isaac and
Rebekah. Coming in upcoming weeks: Jacob and Rachel, Joseph, and Moses.
Why is faith history important? Just as knowing our family roots and the
values that our family ancestors lived by keeps us better grounded with a sense
of belonging, so does knowing our faith ancestors reinforce the kind of faithful
living in ourselves that leads to good decisions, healthy living, and a sense of
belonging to God.
